Did a photo shoot on Tuesday with 4 gorgeous ladies. It was the first time handling the Lastolite too. Not as bad as I expected it to be, but at least careful handling would avoid any mishaps from occuring.
No softbox, just natural light. Photographers can spend heaps just to recreate a natural light scenes using artificial strobes.
When your model isn't very experienced, natural and relaxed poses are best.
The light from the softbox was large enough to illuminate a whole corridor. I'm quite impressed. The models were also grouped close together to minimize light fall off.
This is one of the more successful shots balancing both ambient and and flash lighting.
Hmm.. I seem unusually reserved my words in this post. Perhaps I will have a better day another time. Right now, I'm just too mentally exhausted.

Can you explain why the "photos" on this page appear to me as just large white boxes? For some reason I can't see the photos, just white squares.
No idea, they seem fine on my side. Perhaps the incoming by election is causing all the bandwidth to be sucked up? ;) I hope we Foochows aren't silly enough to only vote for those who dangle a carrot right in front of our eyes.
I don't know what the "incoming by election" reference means. Can you post a link to the photos on some other site?
