Sri Karak,
No. 17, Jalan 52/8, Section 52, Petaling Jaya
Just a simple, neat cafe with nice food at the shops around Menara M.P.P.J. Supposedly the first outlet was set up in Pahang along the Karak highway. I'm sure KL folks are quite familiar with this area.
This restaurant is camera -friendly too. There are some camera magazines for you to browse through while waiting for your food to arrive. The proprietor is an avid photographer using a Canon 30D. Quite an interesting person to speak to.
I had ostrich meat with kueh teow. It tastes like very lean beef.
Oh yes.. the highlight of the evening - Durian pancake! Absolutely flavorful fresh cream and 100% fresh durian paste inserted in between layers of very soft pancake.
Another speciality - durian bomb. Durian paste is covered with a yam exterior, and then deep fried to crispy perfection. Yumm!
If you're a durian lover, you should stop by this cafe for a bite. It's certainly worth a try.
Cheers~

Looks good!
Looks good, but overrated. Do not be deceived at what you see and hear about this place. I EnJOY the PICS more than the FOOD!
