Punters win RM2.4mil with number related to Goh Tong

A MAN from Johor and 13 friends won RM2.4mil after they struck the first prize by buying the number 3909, China Press reported.

The number is the reverse of 9093, which is the combination of Genting Group founder Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong’s Chinese age (90) and the age stated in his obituary (93).

The numbers related to Lim, who died on Tuesday, including his age, year of birth, date of birth and time of his death have been popular among punters.

The number was Da Ma Cai’s first prize on Wednesday.
