Went for lunch today at Dessert House on Swanston St with church mates. They serve typical Chinese food with prices averaging $8.
Restaurants like these are considered 'cheap-eats' because their mains usually cost less than $10. Too bad they aren't as comparable as the Melbourne Uni mixed rice stall in Union House - rice / noodles with 2 dishes (large) is $5.50.

Me - spicy chicken ribs
Jason L - pork 'steak'
Chris Tan - stirfried seafood and veg on crispy noodles.
