A gloomy summer evening

The weather seemed cooler than usual when i headed to the river to take some nightshots yesterday. Heavy clouds were looming in the sky, threatening to release their contents anytime, but nothing happened. It seemed as if God himself had no more tears for the victims of the deadly bushfires that occurred a few days ago. Hundreds of families have been displaced from their homes, and some literally managed to only save themselves without any personal possesions because the fires spread so quickly. At least 170 deaths have been reported, and many are reported as 'missing' while coroners struggle to identify whats left of the charred remains.

there were no festivities around crown casino either; the usual performances by the 'fire towers' held by the hour weren't happening.
