How to become an air hostess

This question was asked at the same forum i've mentioned yesterday.

"bagaimanakah caranya untuk menjadi seorang pramugari kerana saya ada seorang kawan yang berminat." [ how do you become an air hostess? I've a friend who's interested]

Answer:

Make sure that your friend meet the requirements of being an air hostess.She should be:
1) 20-30 years old
2)minimum height of 157.5cm for females
3)well educated with good command of written and spoken English
4)Airline experience not essential, but previous, Customer Service, Nursing and Hospitality /travel trade experience would be a definite advantage.

Remember to bring the following documents:
1) a CV
2)Original birth cert
3) Other certs
4)A postcard sized full length colour photograph
5) Clear passport copy.

Attire during interview - wear knee-length skirt/ dress

Some parties are concerned about the current uniform of our local air hostesses.

Wanita UMNO delegate from Kubang Kerian, Datuk Zaleha Hussin complained at the UMNO General Assembly that AirAsia's air hostess' uniform 'show too much skin'. She wanted the government to tell AirAsia to change their air hostess' uniform to reflect eastern and Islamic values.

If this Datuk gets her wish, I hope it doesn't get this bad...
